From the top of the drive, there are views across the Dornoch Firth, to Tain and beyond. From the house, both the Dornoch and Moray Firths can be seen and on clear days, the mountains of the Cairngorms in the distance. The established garden is bordered by fir trees, shrubbery and farmland. A stream runs down the side of the drive. Loch Lannsaidh, a remote loch surrounded by moorland, is a 30 minute walk from Craggan.

Viewers of The Traitors will have seen how beautiful the Highlands of Scotland are. Craggan is roughly a 30 minute drive to Ardross Castle where the programme is filmed. Unfortunately the castle is not open for visitors.
